6 Door Flat Pack Wardrobe

This was a challenging job, as not only was the bedroom quite small in which to build such a large wardrobe, but the house is around 100 years old and the floor was very uneven.

It required patience, good use of spatial awareness and planning to get the wardrobe built in such a confined space, and clever use of wedges and a spirit level to make sure that the wardrobe was level. This was really important as flat pack furniture does not have a strong frame, and can be easily twisted on an uneven surface resulting in doors that won’t close and drawers that won’t fit.

A very satisfied customer and a very happy House Martin at a job well done. Looks great doesn’t it!

Garden Shed Repair

I was recently called out to look at a garden shed in a terrible state of repair – the roof was leaking badly, the main structure had not been maintained for several years, and was in dire need of the House Martin’s attention!

As you can see, after replacing the roof felt and timbers, and a good rub down and lick of paint, the shed is looking as good as new – and for a much lower price than a new garden shed!
